Avyan Terms of Service

Welcome to Avyan ("we", "us", "the app"), a short-video social application for creators. By creating an account or using Avyan you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use Avyan. By using the app you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Your account

• You sign in with your phone number and/or email using a one-time verification code.
• You are responsible for the activity that happens on your account and for keeping access to your phone number/email secure.
• You may hold more than one account, but you may not use accounts to evade enforcement of these terms.

3. Content you post

• You own the videos, captions, comments, and other content you create. You grant Avyan a non-exclusive license to host, store, display, and distribute that content within the app so we can operate the service.
• You are solely responsible for the content you post and must have the rights to share it.

4. Acceptable use & zero tolerance for objectionable content

Avyan has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. You agree not to post, share, or engage in:

• Sexually explicit material, nudity, or content that sexualizes minors;
• Hate speech, harassment, bullying, threats, or content that promotes violence;
• Content depicting graphic violence, self-harm, or dangerous acts;
• Spam, scams, impersonation, or misleading information;
• Content that infringes others' intellectual property or privacy;
• Any activity that is illegal under applicable law.

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.

5. Reporting, blocking & moderation

Every video, comment, and user can be reported from within the app, and you can block any user. We review reports and act on objectionable content and abusive users — typically within 24 hours. Blocked users can no longer interact with you or see your content in the feed.

6. Intellectual property

The Avyan name, app, and design are owned by us. These terms do not grant you any right to use our branding except as needed to use the app normally.

7. Termination & account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the app (Profile → Settings → Account), or from our account deletion page. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile and associated content from our systems. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Disclaimers

Avyan is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Avyan is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or content posted by other users.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
